Abstract: Artificial neural network, the cutting-edge technology in the field of artificial intelligence, is widely used in the production and operation of petrochemical enterprises. This paper introduces the basic principle and algorithm classification of artificial neural network technology, discusses the application progress of artificial neural network in the operation optimization, fault diagnosis, energy saving and emission reduction, safety early warning and data prediction of petrochemical enterprises, puts forward the focus of the application of artificial neural network in petrochemical enterprises, and looks forward to the development trend of this technology in petrochemical enterprises.
